Fees: For the 7:15 basics and Beyond Class: $112.00 for the 8 week series $17.00 per class drop-in. $185.00 for 2 or more classes per week for the 8-week series

A complete yoga experience for students of all levels. Function, fitness and fun are the focus as you explore balanced experiences of mindful movement with simple, powerful techniques of breath work and meditation. Learn and expand upon this unique presentation of yoga and additional awareness and movement practices designed to restore and renew body mind and spirit. Based upon a deep understanding of the layers and levels of bodily movement, alignment and function, attention is given to core and outer physical strength, flexibility and overall balance. Meditation, awareness, and mindful attention to breath enhances a sense of power, focus and deep stress release. Take this invitation to transform all of your life as you integrate this simple, potent and profound time spent moving, breathing and being more fully in the moment.
Yoga Basics and Beyond: Awakening into Fitness, & Flow & Peace 7:15-8:30pm *In Studio 2 on the main level (gentle-moderate challenge, some experience recommended)
Discover the creative possibilities of yoga! This class is designed introduce and develop the powerful practices of yoga and meditation to generate the possibilities of greater physical well-being and deep stress release to enhance your life in a profound way. Experiences functional movement, classical yoga postures and increasingly creative yoga vinyasa (meditative flows movement linked via breath). Breakthrough the plateaus in your yoga practice as you stimulate deeper healing energies and integrate the profound benefits of yoga. Create an increasing connection to joy through your yoga practice amidst the challenges of living on and off the yoga mat. (The 6 pm class is free to JCC members as part of the JCC fitness schedule.
